She is survived by: her sister Lorraine Crates; and her children, Helen Knotts, Melande Bart, Kristie Sutherlin, DeWayne Knotts, Edward Knotts, Keith Knotts, Adriel Knotts, Kalvin K. Higgins, David Knotts and Kevin Knotts. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
