He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Kinney and Mabel Kinney (Cornwell); his wife Zona Ritchie; and his siblings, Darwin, Dean, Darlene, Norma, Virginia and Marge.
He is survived by: his sons, Dale Kinney Jr. of Knox and Jeremiah Kinney of Elkhart; and his sisters, Carol Patrick of Plymouth and Rita Bolinski. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
