He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Rodgers and Lillie Rodgers (Murphy); and his siblings, Harold Rodgers, Cliff Rodgers, Arlene Treash and Betty Savio.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Rodgers; his sons, Gary Rodgers (Beth) and Jeff Rodgers (Leslie); his grandchildren, Justin Rodgers (Alissa) of Colorado Springs, Zach Rodgers of Terre Haute and Hayley Douglas (Kennon) of Brazil; his great grandchildren, Braxton Rodgers, Gabriel Rodgers, Kashton Douglas and Vaelyn Douglas; and his niece Janet Rodgers. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
