He was predeceased by: his father Carl; his former wife Rose Cox; his wife Linda Cox; his son Bill Cox, Jr.; and his siblings, Steve Cox, Arthur, Ruby Hair and Becky Ellis.
He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Wilkerson (Jeff) of Knightstown; his grandchildren, Ashlee Ruddick (Jeremiah) of Knightstown, Jace Wilkerson of Knightstown, Trista Pruett (Jordan) of New Castle and Taylor Cox of Carthage; his great grandchildren, Addison Ruddick, Emsley Ruddick, Avery, Hudson Cox, Ridge and Paisley Pruett; his stepchildren, Judy Elliott (Jeff) of Greenwood and Matthew Taylor of Plainfield; his grandpuppies, Bentley and Asher; and his siblings, Maedean Tower of New Castle, Suezanne Bulthaup (Bob) of Indianapolis, George Cox (Marilyn) of Carmel and Norman Cox (Elizabeth) of Coldwater, MI. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
