He was predeceased by: his parents, Sigurd Knutson and Velma Lee Nasby (Taylor); his son Michael Nasby; and his siblings, James, Clifford, Max Nasby, Gana Worgum and Irma Franklin.

He is survived by: his wife Irma; his daughter Pam Green; his daughter-in-law Tamme Nasby; his grandson Jeremy Nasby; and his siblings, Dale Nasby, Severt Nasby (Carol), Donna Knowles (Jim) and Nora Dailey.
