She was predeceased by: her parents, Winton L. Whaley and Leola Whaley; her brother W. L. Whaley; her former husband Al C. Grimm, Jr.; and her parents-in-law, Raymond and Goldie Delay.
She is survived by: her brother William Whaley; her friends, Darlene Foster, Sue Masters and Lisa Holder; her husband Jerry H. Delay; and her children, Al "Buddy" Grimm (Terri) of McCordsville, Sharon Grimm-Baker of Fishers, Cindy Edwards (John) of Carmel, Robert "Bob" Grimm of Tampa, FL, Michael Delay (Sylvia) of Lutz, FL, Jeri Lyn McCorkle (Mark) of Milroy and Heather Woods (Howard, III) of McCordsville. She is also survived by several nephews, nieces and cousins.
