He is survived by: his children, Sonya Whiteside (Eric), Jocelyn Morris (Brett) and Ariel Sturgill-Helm (Matthew); his grandchildren, Mazie, Eli, Emmett and Easton; and his siblings, Glenn Sturgill (Sue), Terry Sturgill (Eva), Oscar "Bub" Sturgill (Jennifer), Clarence Sturgill (Cindy) and Judy McGinnis Sturgill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service (7355 IN-109, Knightstown, IN 46148). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
