It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta Halcomb of Knightstown, Indiana, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on January 18, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elva Thompson and America Thompson (Lovins); her husband Walker; her siblings, Donald Thompson, Dorothy Reece, Earl Thompson and Shirley Dixon; and her children-in-law, Don Tirey and Sharon Halcomb.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda Tirey of New Paris, Ohio and Charles Halcomb of Knightstown; her grandchildren, Gary Halcomb (Jean), Allen Houchins (Jennifer), Brenda Todd (Mike), Randy Halcomb (Julie), Barbara Fort (Steve), Scott Halcomb, Josh Doughty and Lesley Tice (Matt); and her sisters, Ruby Denham and Phyllis Jacobs (Bob). She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren.
