He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Vernon and Laura Wells (Loveall); and his siblings, Geneva Jones, Connie Tucker, Nina Jo Wells, Candace Lou Pollitt, Richard E. Wells and James P. Wells.

He is survived by: his friend Church; and his siblings, Robecca Wells of Knightstown, Jerry Wells (Marlene) of Knightstown and Danny Wells of Kokomo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
