She was predeceased by: her parents, John Vernon and Willie Celestea Parsons (Frederick); and her nephews, Che'Reed and Chad Parsons. She is survived by: her husband Mike Sturgill; her daughters, Sonya Whiteside (Eric), Jocelyn Morris (Brett) and Ariel Sturgill-Helm (Matthew); her grandchildren, Mazie, Eli, Emmett and Easton; and her siblings, Deborah Reed (Roger), Johnny Parsons (Sherry), Charlene Mullins, Carmen Kelp and Chad Parsons. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
