He is survived by: his mother Martha Armstrong; his sons, Charlie Armstrong (Holli) of New Albany and John Armstrong, II of Shelbyville; his grandchildren, Emily Armstrong, Madison Tompkins, Deacon Armstrong and Isabella Armstrong; and his siblings, Billy Armstrong (Darla) of Rushville, Lawrence Armstrong (Daisy) of Rushville, Florence Manning (Scott) of Holiday, FL, Paul Williams of Carthage and Gayla Heldebrand (Ronnie) of Knightstown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
