We are sad to announce that on July 27, 2018, at the age of 35, Jay E Smith (Knightstown, Indiana), born in Toledo, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Forest Steward and Bertha Steward; and his brother Michael Smith. He is survived by: his parents, Otha Smith (Deanna) of Mansfield, OH. and Melissa of Mansfield, OH.; his siblings, Shelva Stephens (Tommy) of Greenfield and Christopher Smith of Greenfield; his stepsiblings, Jacob Wieneke of Indianapolis and Susan Whitaker (Josh) of New Castle; and also Robinson of Mansfield, OH.. He is also survived by 4 nieces, 1 nephew, 1 step-niece and 2 step-nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Jay Smith Memorial Fund c/o Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service.
