He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Parker and Onabelle Parker of Knightstown, Indiana.; and his siblings, Elizabeth Hardin and Ossie. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his sister Jennifer Claire; and his children, Christa Middleton (Peter), Mary Wilke (Juri), Lisa Parker, Janice Ellefson (Bryan) and David Parker. He is also survived by ten loving grandchildren.
