It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald L. Meade of Knightstown, Indiana, who passed away on January 27, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lee Meade and Martha Meade (Ball); his brothers, Robert D. Meade of Bellingham and Malcolm Meade of Dayton; his nephew Norman Meade of Straughn; his wife Barbara J. Meade (Kiplinger); his daughters, Donna Tauber of Spiceland and Rhonda Brown of Knightstown; his grandchildren, Leigh Ann, Miranda Jo, Rachel Nicole and Benjamin Daniel; and his great grandchildren, Rhiannon, Stephen, Eliana, Joshua and Elijah.

It is recommended to wear a face covering and practice social distancing.

“So many things to remember when I think of Don. We went to school together, and I've spent lots of time with them over the years. What I most remember about Don is that when he served our country in the Army, being separated from Barbara made him physically sick and they ultimately sent him home to be with her. And there he stayed. I love you all, and know that his love will always be with you, as love never dies. gail”
