He was predeceased by: his parents, Bryan Carmichael and Gladys Carmichael (King); his brother Dwight "Bud" Carmichael; and his brother-in-law Raymond Dusang. He is survived by: his wife Joan Carmichael (Robb); his sons, Gabe Carmichael (Heidi) of Knightstown, Bryan Carmichael (Allison Brewer) of Carthage and Jim Carmichael (Danielle) of Knightstown; his grandchildren, Emma, Mason, Landon, Ariana, Braxton, Brayden and Bryor; his sisters, Anita Dusang of Greenfield and Marsha Veach (Paul) of Shirley; and his sister-in-law Eleonore Carmichael of Markleville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
