He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Goodwin and Nancy Goodwin (Jackson); his wife Madge M. Goodwin (Grigson); and his siblings, Lena Caudill, Grace Thompson, Dessa Morgan, Goldie M. Jackson, George and Oral Goodwin.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Brenda Jackson (Richard) of New Palestine; and his stepgrandchildren, Jason, Jodi and Mike. He is also survived by seven step great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
