She was predeceased by: her father Kenneth E. Smith; her former husband Nathan W. Hamilton Jr.; her husband David L. McGinnis; and her sisters, Judy Langley, Loretta Penn and Debbie Catron.
She is survived by: her mother Virginia B. "Sally" Smith (Aker) of Knightstown; her sons, Zachary Hamilton (Natasha) of Knightstown, Wesley Hamilton (Amanda) of Knightstown and Ezekiel Hamilton (Olivia) of Knightstown; her siblings, Tammy Chew and Jack Grizzell; and her grandchildren, Jacob, John Luke, Nora, Jessica, Josiah, Bailey, Brooklyn, Joseph, Carter, Nate and Jameson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory (1484 US-40, Greenfield, IN 46140). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
