He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Spence and Maymie Spence (Fraley); his wife Nadine Spence; his siblings, Marvin Spence and Ruby Zornes; and his brothers-in-law, Harlan Logan and Lon Zornes.
He is survived by: his sons, DeWayne Spence (Mary) and Randy Spence (Jo Anna); his grandchildren, Holly Spence (Christine Damron), Daniel Spence (Ashley), Justin Spence (Katie) and Ashley Martin (Jacob); and his sisters, Molly Musgrave, Betty Logan, Pearl Miller (Gerald), Gay Johnson (Jim) and Judy Graham (Gerry). He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
