It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verla Evans of Kingsford Heights, Indiana, born in Elmira, New York, who passed away on October 2, 2021, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Wayne Wells and Barbara Jean Wells (Granville). She is survived by: her husband Stanley Evans; her children, Shavongh Evans (Jacob) of La Porte, IN, Blake Evans (Evie) of Kingsford Heights, IN, Reginald Evans (Tori) of Kingsford Heights, IN and Stanley Evans, Jr. of Carrizozo, NM; her siblings, Clyde Wells Sr. and Barbara Jean Allen; and her grandchild Phoibe Evans. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
