He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wilson and Betty Wilson (Wilhelm); and his brothers, Larry Wilson, Jerry Wilson and Roger Lower.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Carol Upp; his children, John Wilson of Amite City, Louisiana and Juli Boisvert (Rick) of North Judson, Indiana; his grandchildren, Corey Hill (Christine), Todd Hill (Ashley), Gaston Combs, Phillip Alexander (Ashley), Courtney Pinks and Nathan Tyler Wilson (Lindsay); and his siblings, Norma Pennington (Don) of La Porte, George Wilson of Plymouth and Mike Lower (Cindy) of La Porte, Indiana.. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
