With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laverne Dunlap (Kingsford Heights, Indiana), born in Greenwood, Mississippi, who passed away on April 24, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, George and Betty McMillan; her parents, Sel Dunlap Sr. and Mattie Sue McMillan Dunlap; and her uncle Grover McMillan.
She is survived by: her child LaVerne; her siblings, Betty Lue Dunlap, Donia Juanita Dunlap-Smith (Bill), Mattie Dunlap-Ivy (Lewis) and Willie A. Davis (Pearl); her adoptive daughter Patricia Jeanes Duke (Craig); her grandchildren, Cameo, Camari, Cameron, Miss Cameela (Mimi) and Desemon; and her friends, Sue Yadavia, Carla Bullis of Michigan City and Kim Hefner of Las Vegas.
