It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Shepherd of Kingsford Heights, Indiana, born in La Porte, Indiana, who passed away on May 17, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Felix Shepherd and Alice Shepherd (Shepherd); his wife Karen Shepherd (Volk); his children, Alice Faye Williams, Virginia Geraldine Shepherd, Felix Patrick Shepherd and Elizabeth Rose Shepherd; his stepchildren, Maida Eaton and Jonathon "Johnny" Eaton; his siblings, Willis Shepherd (Cheryl), Faye Shepherd-Christenson, Frank Shepherd and Charles Shepherd (Barb); his grandchildren, Kaela, Taris, Zane, Bryce, Asher, Elloran, Jaxon and Siobhan; his brother Claude Shepherd; and his brother-in-law Dean L. Christenson.
