We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2023, at the age of 67, James K. Herbst of Kingsford Heights, Indiana, born in La Porte, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Herbst and Juanita Herbst (Young); and his siblings, Jerry Herbst, Fred Herbst, Sharolyn Geren and Jack Herbst.
He is survived by: his wife Tina M. Dayton; his children, Jeremy Herbst of La Porte, Alison Travis (Joe) of Crown Point and Julie Thompson (Josh) of La Porte; his grandchildren, Madilynn Herbst, Alayna Herbst, Macy Herbst and Rebekah Travis; and his sister Janet Peterson of La Porte.
