He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Thomas and Rovene Thomas (Rhodenbaugh); and his siblings, Bob Chilacote, Larry Thomas and Leila Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Gossett Thomas; his children, Randy Thomas (Esther) of Tangier, Gary Thomas of Tangier and Kimberly White (Bradley) of Rosedale; his siblings, David Thomas (Cathy) of Hillsboro, Mike Thomas (Pam) of Veedersburg, Steve Thomas (Amanda) of Veedersburg, Vinnie Wilkerson (Larry) of Peru, Sue Cox of Veedersburg, Nancy Kirts of Veedersburg and Jannie Deffenbaugh of Hume, IL; his grandchildren, Rachel Harris (Josh Milbourn), Ashley Norman (Zach) of Rockville, Kristin Busenbark (Tyler) of Terre Haute and Thomas Soltermann of Clinton; and his great grandchildren, Wil Sauter, Blake, Aidan Harris, Taylor, Payton, Kendall Thomas, Sophia, Emma and Isabella Norman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
