She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph J. Sr. Swaim and Callie May Swaim (Jackson); her husband Jack M Thompson Sr.; her son Gerald E. Thompson; her son-in-law Les Young; her siblings, Gladys Keller, May Swaim, Barbara Tryon, Don, Ralph Jr., Ray and Glen Swaim; and her great grandchild Owen Christopher Kelley.

She is survived by: her children, Sheila A. Young, Jack Thompson (Dawn) and Marlon Thompson (Pam); her grandchildren, Andrea, James, Adrianne (Philip), Alison (Chad), Leann (Steve), Erin (Brad), Kayla (Christopher), Travis, Dakota and Kyle; her sisters, Ardella Foster and Evelyn Randolph; and her sisters-in-law, Martha Ransom and Dorothy Swaim. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson.
