With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Evans Stevens of Kingman, Indiana, born in Danville, Illinois, who passed away on November 11, 2023 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Stevens; his grandparents, James (Bob) and Lillie Larrance; his son Christopher Burchett; his uncle John Larrance; his sister Melody Ann; and his friends, Todd Switzer and Jerry Wakeland.
He is survived by: his mother Sandra McCool (John); his wife Mary (Sidener); his siblings, Kim Kinneer (Tom Bennett), Sheri Waymouth (Brian) and John McCool (Brenda); his children, Tiffany Hein, Ashley Martin (Jacob), Amanda Channell (Thomas Fulton), Jonathon and Silas Kilgore; his grandchildren, Daylen, Bronson, Brennyn, Aubree, Brodie and Madilynn; his little buddy Weston; and his nieces and nephews, Andrea Randolph (Kevin), Amelia Kilgore (Bret Harrison), Steavie Spears, John Kilgore (Megan), Dalton McCool, Lauren Kinneer (Devon) and Chanse Whittington.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Indiana Donor Network in memory of Jim.
