He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Otis Crowder, Sr. and Helena Crowder (Clark); his children, Elise Myers, Richard Crowder and Larry Cummings; his grandchildren, Jessica White, Samantha J. Bowling and Israel Cummings; and his siblings, Jean Martin (Claude) and Carl Crowder.
He is survived by: his children, Kimmie Bowling (Dewaine), LaDonna Edmiston (Gary), Candy Crowder, Artie White (Gary), Vickie Hargrave (Bob), Carl Crowder (Jaime), Danny Cummings (Dawn) and David Cummings (Rita); his brothers, Bradley Crowder (Beth) and Basil Crowder, Jr.; and his great grandchild Keaton Michael James Cox. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
