She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend William S. Barnard and Lillian N. Barnard (Nahrwold); her brother Robert Barnard; her daughter Martha Caylor; and her granddaughter Angela Schwartz.
She is survived by: her former spouse Reverend Joseph S. Merrill; her husband Joe Merrill of Keystone; her children, Tim Merrill (Nikki) of Economy, Sharon Braun of Keystone, Debbie Schwartz of Berne and Dan Merrill of Keystone; her son-in-law Harry Caylor of Ridgeville; her grandchildren, Dawn Caylor, Damon Caylor, Jessica Braun, Jordan Braun (Faith), Daphne Landers and Amanda Martz (Phillip); her brother Dave Barnard (Vickie) of Berne; and her sister-in-law Liz Nielander of Kokomo. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren; and a great many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
