He is survived by: his wife Barbara Koopman; and his nieces and nephews, Susan Hamman, Larry Donathen (Joyce), Tom Foust (Jackie), Penny Keyser, Nancy Ewing, Cindy Eastwood (Rick), Tina Johnson (James) and Robin WoodrumNumerous (Jim).

A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Knights of Pythias Cemetery (301 S State St, Lizton, IN 46149).
