He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Bode and Lillian Bode (Stuenkel); his wife Ann; his brothers, Wayne and Wesley; and his stepdaughter Karen.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Riley; his sisters-in-law, Glenda Bode of Kewanna and Susan Bode of Herscher, IL; his nieces and nephews, Lisa Bode, Glen Bode (Amy), Brenda Offermann (David), Scot Bode (Kristie), Denise Huston (Guy), Todd Bode and Karen Schutters; his stepson Martin Austin (Mary); and also, Rachel (Patrick), Alex, Hilary, Brent, Brittney (Blaine) and Riley (Daniel).
