He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wentzel and Doris Wentzel (Flaherty); and his sister Lori. He is survived by: his wife Janice Wentzel; his daughters, Angela Plummer of Kewanna and Amanda Heckaman (Adam) of Bourbon; his grandsons, Jerry, Gary, Blake Plummer, Tyler, Jaydon and Brady Heckaman; and his brothers, Alan Wentzel (Bea) and Jim Wentzel (Linda).
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Metzger Chapel (123 E Main St, Kewanna, IN 46939). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Metzger, Chapel (123 E Main St, Kewanna, IN 46939).
In Lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions may be made to the Kewanna VFW Post 1121.
