Elaine E. Rans Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elaine E. Rans of Kewanna, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 10, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Larkin and Marie Larkin (Combs); her husband Larry Rans; her sister Eileen Stepp; and her brothers-in-law, Harold Foust, Paul Bardsley and Phil Wood.
She is survived by: her children, Robert "Bob" Rans (Donna), Larry Rans (Barb), Susan Crawford and Diana Moore (Tom); her grandchildren, Kyle Rans (Stacy), Julie Vicsik (Jim), Joshua Sollars (Nancy), Ben Rans (Erin), Cody Rans (Kati) and Carol Owens (Jeff); and her sisters, Maxine Bardsley (Jim), Pat Foust and Carol Earnest (Bill). She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Metzger Chapel (123 E Main St, Kewanna, IN 46939). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions can be made to Citizens I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
