He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Hurt and Maggie Hurt (Fielden); his brother James Hurt; and his granddaughter Brianne Martin. He is survived by: his children, Steven Stately Hurt of Virginia, Belinda Hurt of Kentland, Janice Hurt (Steve) of Kentland and April Hurt of Effingham, Illinois; and his siblings, Maybeth Smith of Owensboro and Thomas Hurt of Evansville, Indiana.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to the charity of the donor's choice.
