She was predeceased by: her parents, Commodore Howard and Lula Howard (Sexton); her children, James Vanderpool, Tina Berry and Rodney Johnson; her granddaughter Amber Johnson; and her siblings, Juanita Wilson and T. J. Howard.
She is survived by: her children, Della "Angie" Gamble (David), Teresa Johnson, Wendy Yambrick (James) and Danny Howard (Deb); her children-in-law, Mike Berry and Talina Vanderpool; her siblings, Linda Wright, Willa Jean Smith and Ralph Howard; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Vanderpool (Amanda), Jerica Vanderpool, Patricia Parks (Caleb), Felicia Howard, Megan Scott (Zane), Brittany Hammersmith, Robert Christian (Jessica), Brandon Christian (Karissa), Chelsey Rivira (Asael), Amelia Johnson and Erika Yambrick.
