She is survived by: her former spouse Chet High; her husband Alfred Porter; her daughters, Vicki (Rob Slone), Kimberly Simpson of Kendallville and Susan Leanne High of Garrett; her stepchildren, Cindy (Brian Kolbe), Charity (Rich Wisel), Chad (Bobbie Porter), Joe (Teresa Selby), Mark Selby of Albion and Steven (Paula Selby); and her siblings, Bonnie (Ralph DePew), Fristeen Handshoe of Tennessee, Peggy Bolen of Virginia, Barbara Howard of Auburn, Leon Hicks of Kendallville, Louise Mullins, Dixie Donaldson, Ancil Hicks, Isador Hicks, Jack Hicks, Hancie Hicks and Axley "Tuttie" Hicks.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hite Funeral Home (403 S Main St, Kendallville, IN 46755). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Sweet Cemetery (E 415 N, Albion, IN 46701).
