He is survived by: his wife Shirley Wallen of Kendallville; his children, Addie Renee Dietrich of Louisville, Rhonda Kugler (Mike) of Ashley, Marina Handshoe (Grayson) of Michigan, Jeffery Rhodes (Dora) of Catlett, Denver Sparkman (Linda) of Kendallville and Roger Sparkman (Connie) of Kendallville; his grandchildren, Misty Rhodes, Jeremy Rhodes, Nicole Rhodes, Dustin Baker, Jordon Baker, Blake Kugler, Isaiah Rhodes, Vincent Rhodes, Derek Handshoe, Nathan Handshoe and Brittany Handshoe; and his brother Don McDaniel of Pleasant Lake. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
