It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Longyear (Kendallville, Indiana), who passed away on May 24, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Longyear and Arlene L. Longyear (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Beckie Ann Longyear (Krauter); his children, Leslie Ann Wechter (John), Stacey Lynette DeLong, Laura Lyn Freed (Laramy) and Ryan Roger Longyear (Jessica); his grandchildren, Carlene Riecke (Cody), Luke Wechter (Hannah), Kyler Warble (Mataya), Kaylen Warble, Ethan Freed, Noah Longyear, Alayna DeLong, Caleb Freed, Jacob Freed, Avalynn DeLong, Emmaline Freed, Levi Wechter and Roger Jay Longyear; his stepgrandchildren, Kaylee Petersen, Kara and Colton Kemp; his great grandchildren, Craylor, Cora Riecke, Kyler Jr., Miles Warble and Brenna Wechter; his sisters, Nancy Maher and Sharol Cloud (Ron); and his father-in-law Halden Krauter.
