He is survived by: his wife Susan Avery of Kendallville; his children, Sarah Avery of Denver, Colorado. and Brendan Avery of Kendallville, Indiana.; his granddaughter Sullivan Jane Avery; and his sister Mary Sue McFarland of Indianapolis, Indiana..
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (2290 IN-9, Albion, IN 46710).
