Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Phyllis Lash of Kendallville, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 88, on December 13, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Nelson Smith and Viola Emilie Mae Smith (Hammel); her husband Gene Lash; her siblings, Max Smith, Kenneth Smith, Janice Thacker and Evelyn Gibson; and her sister-in-law Willa Smith (Goodman).
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl (Keith Ellert), Randy Lash of Kendallville, Janie (Doug Shull), Kristopher (Sherry Lash) and Michelle (Kent Yoder); her brother James "Jimmy" Smith of Auburn; and her sister-in-law Linda Smith of Albion.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Hite Funeral Home (403 S Main St, Kendallville, IN 46755). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to Lutheran Life Villages of Kendallville.
