He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Everett Bherns and Patricia Ann Bherns (Porter). He is survived by: his children, Jessica (Ryan Schoof), Nichole (Aaron Hoyt) and Douglas Tyler Bherns of Kendallville; his grandchildren, Faith, Ryan, Jr., Elaine, Hunter, Benjamin, Klaire, Zayla, Olivia and Payton; and his siblings, John (Paula Bherns), Kathy (Steve Heiman) and Jenny (Randy Kline).
