With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James H. Bartlett of Kendallville, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. James left this world on April 26, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Bartlett and Helen Bartlett (VanVoorhies). He is survived by: his children, Rev. James D. (Rhonda Bartlett) and Debra Cooper of Kendallville; and his grandchildren, Chad, Stephanie Cooper of Pendleton, Amanda Hall of Michigan, Corey Cooper (Alisha Slone) of Wolcottville, Andrew, Ashlee Bartlett of Brushy Prairie, Jefferson, Amber Cooper of Auburn, Ernest and Laura Bartlett of Corunna.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hite Funeral Home (403 S Main St, Kendallville, IN 46755). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mongo United Methodist Church (325 IN-3, Howe, IN 46771). A burial will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Mongo Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Mongo United Methodist Church.
