He was predeceased by: his parents, James Benjamin Sedgwick and Norine Marshall Sedgwick (Baughman); his son-in-law David Nowels; and his sisters, Sally Mouw and Virginia Bower.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Sedgwick of Kendallville; his children, Thomas Sedgwick (Michael Levine) of Poughkeepsie, Karla (David Fiffick) and Sandra (Mickey Rainey); his granddaughter Toriah (Spencer Jones); his great grandchild Ginny Jones; and his brother Robert Sedgwick of Del Mar, California..
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hite Funeral Home (403 S Main St, Kendallville, IN 46755). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rome City Elementary School breakfast and lunch program for students in need.
