She was predeceased by: her parents, George Kenneth and Joy Maisel Bonner (Harreld); her husband Harold D. Barkey; and her son Terry D. Barkey. She is survived by: her son Ken Barkey (Angie) of Marana, Arizona; her grandchildren, Justin Barkey (Krista) of Fortville, Amber Grim (James) of Mason, Logan Emenhiser of Tucson and Landon Emenhiser (Destinee) of Tucson, Arizona; and her great grandchildren, Kaitlynn Barkey, Devon Mayne, Cora Grim, Adelle Grim and Jessica Emenhiser.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Helmer Community Church (7530 South State Road 327, Hudson). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
