He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lowrye Oyler and Virginia Oyler (Clouser); his wife Linda Lee Miller; his children, Susan Hill, Shannon Deboy (Kevin) and Bruce Oyler; his granddaughter Jessica Papandria (Nick); his sons, John Deboy and David Deboy; his great grandchildren, Vivian Papandria, Henry Papandria and Emerson Deboy; his sister Jeanette Bray; and his son-in-law Arley Hill. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
