He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Marion Jones and Mildred Thelma Jones (Fisher); his wife Betty Lou Jones (Coker); his sisters, Janice Hanmore and Mariam Hammond; and his granddaughter Robyn D. Bledsoe.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Jane Sluder and Diana Jones (Gailon Garling); his stepchildren, Debbie Roby, Donna Davis and Charles Hendey; his grandson Jeremy Jones (Karen); his brother Michael Jones (Charlotte); and his close friend Joyce Reese. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
