With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ewell Talmadge York of Jonesboro, Indiana, who passed away on October 14, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise York (Toy) and Carl Talmadge York; his son Greg Alan Couch; and his siblings, Doug York (late Shirley) and Carole Giselbach (late Jack).
He is survived by: his wife Donna Hayhurst; his children, David Couch (Theresa) of Marion, Ewell T. "Tyler" York, Jr. of Jonesboro, Shadoe York (Brandy) of Marion and Racheal York of Elwood; his grandchildren, Avis Torres, Ethan Torres, Luis Manzo, Ryder York, Rylee York, Adrianna York, Shadoe Steven York, Jr., Kyrie Rose York, Jacob Wootten and Brody Updegraff; and his siblings, Linda Heflin (Dave) of Elwood, Roger York (Dianna) of Converse and Dewayne York (Raetta) of Elwood. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
