William J. Bensing Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William J. Bensing of Jeffersonville, Indiana, who passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Bensing and Marie A. Bensing (Nance); his wife Marilyn Bensing; his grandson Morgan Julius; his siblings, John A. Bensing Jr., Charles Bensing (Boots) and June Ducherer; and his brother-in-law Frank Marquet.
He is survived by: his children, Suzanne Julius (Wayne Strobel) of Jeffersonville, IN, Julie Bensing of Charlestown, IN, Johanna Lively (George) of Helotes, TX and Michael Bensing (Paige) of Lexington, KY; and his sister Mary Marquet. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the J.B. Ogle Animal Shelter in Jeffersonville.
