He is survived by: his wife Carol Cowart; his daughter Tabitha Sumner; his grandchildren, Stephen Sumner and Thomas Sumner (Skylar); his great grandchildren, Charleigh Rae Sumner, John Thomas Sumner and Lucy Evans Sumner; his siblings, Sue Nazal (John), Donisa Zetrour (Gary) and Richard Cowart; and his in-laws, Charles, Mary Walker, Lamar Palmer, Gene and Joanne Pitts.
