She was predeceased by: her parents, Dave Emly and Louise Emly; her husband Maurice Powell; her children, Gale Harrod, Dennis and Michael Powell; and her siblings, Paul, David Emly, Mary L. Murphy, Martha Bishop and Barbara Carter.
She is survived by: her son Tony Powell (Jeanne) of Jeffersonville; her brother Richard Emly (Linda); her grandchildren, Meredith Nevitt, Lauren Powell, Madeleine Powell, Abby Powell, Michael G. Powell Jr. and Jonathan Harrod; and her stepgrandchildren, Matt Clem (Jenna) and Jennifer Epley. She is also survived by four great granddaughters, four great grandsons and four step great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to Park Memorial United Methodist Church or St. Croix Hospice.
