Nora T. Newman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nora T. Newman of Jeffersonville, Indiana, who passed away on April 12, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Turnbough and Gladys Turnbough (Petty); and her brother Jim Turnbough. She is survived by: her husband Charles Newman; her daughters, Cindy Shaw (Scott), Tess Summers (Carry) and Vanessa Harden (Kevin); her grandchildren, Ashlee Coats (Chad), Kevin Shaw (Laura), Benjamin Worrell (Annaliesa), Bronwyn Worrell, Braden Worrell (Jordan), Bryce Worrell (Abigail), Brianna Summers (Tyler), Brandilyn Pham (Nhat), Brock Worrell and Bethany Worrell; and her great grandchildren, Beckett Shaw, Declan Shaw, Nolan Coats, Gannon Coats, Hayden Pfingston, Ellie Jane Pfingston, Thomas "Toby" Worrell, Elliot "Eli" Worrell and Iris Joy Worrell.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Culbertson Baptist Church (4007 Grant Line Rd, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
